Second Reading of Ordinance 11-1363 -Special Assessment for Code Enforcement <br />Abatement (LPA 11-20) <br />Notice of Public Hearing: The Notice of Public Hearing relative to Ordinance 11-1363 was published in the <br />Orlando Sentinel on Decembel• 1, 2011. <br />Staff Presentation: The City Manager requested that Ordinance 11-1363 be continued to a firture meeting, <br />which date has yet to be determined. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Hufford moved to continue the second reading of Ordinance 11- <br />1363 to a future date, to be determined. Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor <br />Miller. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5 - 0. <br />B. First Reading of Ordinance 11-1366 -Small Scale Future Land Use Map <br />Amendment for Property located at 95 Concord Drive (LPA 11-23) <br />The City Clerlc read Ordinance 11-1366 by title as follows: <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />TO AMEND THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, BY AMENDING THE <br />OFFICIAL FUTURE LAND USE MAP, ESTABLISHING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP <br />DESIGNATION OF MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL (NIDR) FOR THE PARCEL AS <br />DESCRIBED IN SECTION 1 OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Notice of Public Hearing: The Notice of Public Hearing relative to Ordinance 11-1366 was published in the <br />Orlando Sentinel on December 1, 2011. <br />Staff Presentation: Mr. Eric Raasch, Planner, stated Ordinance 11-1366 provides for a Comprehensive Plan <br />Small Scale Future Land Use Map (FLUM) amendment for parcel id# 08-21-30-SBL-HF00-027A, located at <br />95 Concord Drive, changing the classification fiom Commercial to Medium Density Residential. The property <br />ovv~ier/applicant is requesting the amendment to allow for multi-family residential development in lieu of <br />commercial development. Because the property is less than ten acres in size, this is a Small Scale amendment <br />and will be provided to the Bureau of Community Planning within the Florida Department of Economic <br />Opportunity if adopted upon second reading.
