CITY C IS~I NE S' P TS/C ENTS Commissioner Anthony Aramendia -Seat No. 1: Acknowledged and thanked the City Commission for appointing him to the City Commission to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Commissioner Doerner until the next City election. Reported he had extensive and comprehensive meetings and facility tours with staff from all the City's departments over the past week. Thanked staff for facilitating the meetings and tours which he found very educational. Stated he felt that there were very good dynamics in the sense of employees which will be beneficial as efforts continue to move the City fol•ward in a positive fashion. Further stated he was looking forward to running for election to Seat No. 1 next year. Congratulated Vice Mayor Hufford for being selected Chairman of CALNO and for being selected as the new Vice Mayol• of the Commission. Commissioner Sandra Solomon -Seat No. 3: ® Extended best wishes to evelyone for the holidays. ® Expressed appreciation for Ms. Valel•ie Barber-Simpson's service to the community. Vice Mayor Colleen Hufford -Seat No. 4: ® Extended best wishes to evelyone for the holidays. ® Expressed her appreciation to the City Commission for electing her as Vice Mayor. Thanked Commissioner Miller for his service the past year as Vice Mayor. ® Stated she was looking fol•ward to working with Commissioner Aramendia and noted that his presence will be missed on the Planning and Zoning Commission.
