Municipal Advisory Committee (Metroplan,~Repo1•t -Mayor G1ancX <br />Reported on the continued discussion regarding funding of the Wekiva Parkway which occurred at the last <br />MAC meeting. Discussion ensued regarding the Commission continuing to be vigilant with trying to ensure <br />that the flyovel• project remain number one on the project priority list for the region. <br />C. Leadership Seminole Board Report -Mayor G1ancX <br />No report. <br />D. Mayors/Managers Group Report -Mayor Glancy <br />Reported composition of the group was discussed at the November meeting and consensus was that the <br />composition be limited to the Mayors, County Chairman, City Managers and the County Manager. Further <br />reported the topic of the effectiveness and roll of the Council of Local Governments in Seminole County was <br />also discussed. The group delegated Winter Springs Mayor Charles Lacey to work with his City Attorney to <br />look into the duties and 1•esponsibilities of the Council and report back to the Mayors and Managers Group. <br />E. Council of Local Governments in Seminole Count~(CALNO) Report - <br />Commissioner Hufford <br />Reported she was selected Chairman of the Council of Local Governments in Seminole County and <br />reappointed as the Council's representative on the Tourist Development Council at the Decembel• 7th meeting. <br />Further reported that the Council was currently in the process of reviewing the purpose of CALNO and the <br />bylaws. <br />F. Seminole County Redevelopment Planning Agency Report- Commissioner Solomon <br />No repol•t. <br />1 CITY ANAGE 'S P 'I' <br />® Reported the Budget In Brief pamphlet will be distributed with the utility bills in the neat billing <br />cycle. <br />® Noted the Florida League of Cities' Legislative Action Days event will be held Jamiaiy 24~~' & 25Th in <br />Tallahassee. Ful•ther noted hotel accommodations were limited and requested that any Commissioners <br />that would like to attend advise staff as soon as practical. <br />
