City of Casselberry Police Officers' and Firefighters' Pension Plan Annual Report of Investment Activity Introduction: This item is to report the City of Casselberry Police Officers' and Firefighters' Pension Plan Annual Report of Investment Activity for the fiscal year ended September 30, 2011. The report is submitted by John J. Pavlis, Chairman of the Pension Board, and is provided for City Commission review and acceptance. The report is a ministerial duty required under Florida Statutes. It is for information purposes only and requires no action by the City Commission. Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Finance Director recommended acceptance of the City of Casselberry Police Officers' and Firefighters' Pension Plan Annual Report of Investment Activity. G. Bret Amendment #12 -015 — Purchase of Electrical Services from Smithson Electric for Installation of Lighting on the Ballerina Sculpture in Lake Concord Park Introduction: Consideration to approve Budget Amendment #12-015 forpurchase of electrical services from Smithson Electric, Inc. in the amount of $1,534 for installation of lighting on the bronze ballerina sculpture titled `Wendy' in Lake Concord Park is requested. Budget Impact: Funds will be decreased from the City Facilities/Other General Government account #001- 0722- 519.46.00 and increased in the Recreation Division/Improvements Other than Buildings account 4001- 0411- 572.63 -61. BA #12 -015 Explanation of Request: This item seeks City Commission approval to provide funding for installation of lighting to the ballerina sculpture located in Lake Concord Park. The park has an area designated as the Sculpture Garden with a ballerina sculpture in need of landscape up lighting. Adding electrical service will enhance the park's aesthetics and provide lighting safety to the sculpture and bronze finish. Smithson Electric, Inc. has proposed to install the required electrical conduit, 20 amp /120 volt lighting circuit, weather proof receptacles, low voltage transformer and 2 low voltage in- ground LED well lights. The total cost to install the electrical service and LED well lights is $1,534.00. It is recommended the Recreation's Improvements Other than Building (001 - 0310 - 572.63.61) be increased by $1,534 and the City Facilities Repair and Maintenance (001- 0722 - 519.46 -00) be decreased by $1,534.
