Resolution 11-2310 -Resolution of Intent to Adopt a Special Assessment for the Uniform Collection of Non-Ad Valorem Assessments for Code Enforcement Abatement~LPA 11-20~ The City Cleric read Resolution 11-2310 by title as follows: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, ELECTING TO USE THE UNIFORM METHOD OF COLLECTING NON-AD VALOREM SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS LEVIED WITHIN THE INCORPORATED AREA OF THE CITY; STATING A NEED FOR SUCH LEVY; PROVIDING FOR THE MAILILNG OF THIS RESOLUTION; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE." Notice of Public Hearing: The Notice of Public Hearing relative to Resolution 11-2310 was published in the Orlando Sentinel on September 15, 22, 29, and October 6, 2011, in accordance with statutory requirements. Staff Presentation: Ms. Sandra Smith, Development Services Manager, stated Resolution 11-2310 provides notice to the citizens of Casselberry that the City is planning to adopt the uniform method of collecting non-ad valorem assessments far• the costs expended by the City to abate code enforcement violations on private properties throughout the City.
