Budget Amendment #12-001 - Recognition of Revenue from the Urban & Community Forestry Grant Introduction: Consideration of Budget Amendment # 12-001 to recognize revenue in the amount of $15,000 from the Urban & Community Forestry Grant is requested. Budget Impact: The impact to the budget is an increase to the Other Salaries and Wages account #001-0411- 572-13.00 by $15,000 and Urban Forestry Tree Grant revenue account #001-0000-331.70-O1 by $15,000. BA# 12-001: Explanation of Request: This item seeks City Commission approval to recognize the Urban and Community Forestry Grant award in the amount of $15,000 and to appropriate funds to pay for a temporary urban forestry professional. The grant award requires a City match of $16,680 for a total of $31,680. This budget amendment will increase Other Salaries and Wages account (001-0411-572.13-00) by $15,000 and recognize the grant revenue of $15,000 to account 001-0000-331.70-01.
