Resolution 11-2308 -Establish Base and Usage Billing Rates for a Four Inch <br />Reclaimed Water Meter <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, TO ESTABLISH A <br />TEMPORARY CHARGE FORA 4 NCH RECLAIMED WATER METER; PROVIDING FOR <br />CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Resolution 11-2308 provides for establishing a base billing rate fora 4 inch reclaimed water <br />meter of $72.1650 and usage rates for reclaimed water of $1.7023 for 1-175,000 gallons and $2.553 5 for above <br />175,000 gallons until finalization of a new rate study is completed. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. The approval of Resolution 11-2308 will enable the <br />preparation of bills for customers who may utilize a four inch reclaim meter. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Finance Director recommended approval of Resolution 11- <br />2308. <br />E. Abproval of Beverage Permit Request from The Rotary Club of Casselberry <br />Introduction: Consideration to approve a beverage permit request from The Rotaly Club of Casselbeny to <br />sell and serve alcoholic beverages at Lalce Concord Park for the Chamber of Commerce's Celebrate <br />Casselberly event on Thursday, October 6, 2011 from 5 - 8 p.m. is requested. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Directorrecomrnendedapproval ofthebeverage <br />permit for The Rotary Club of Casselberly. <br />F. TIGER III Pre-Application Request <br />Introduction: Consideration to authorize staff to prepare and submit apre-application for a United States <br />Department of Transportation (US DOT) Regional TIGER Discretionary Grant on behalf of the cities of <br />Casselbeny and Altamonte Springs, Seminole County and LYNX for the purpose of obtaining federal funds to <br />enhance the core transportation system of the region is requested. This project will provide supporting <br />infrastructure for existing (fixed route) and proposed (Flex Bus, SunRail) transit services. This includes a <br />series of roadway improvements, bike/ped trail and sidewalk improvements, road diets, transit stop <br />improvements, as well as extensive funding to upgrade signals along the SR 436 corridor within the two cities. <br />Budget Impact: For the City of Casselbeny, the proposed local match is $8,729,477. These funds are either <br />already appropriated in the proposed Fiscal Year 2012 Budget or are readily available, but firture Budget <br />Amendments would be necessary to formalize the allocation of the funds to specific project components. No <br />additional General Fund money other than what has already been appropriated by the City Commission is <br />proposed for the match. The proposed funding is broken down as follows: <br />
