(V) Trailer signs, exclusive of the transportation <br />mechanism, shall not exceed the exterior measurement of five (5) feet in height <br />or ten (10) feet in length, and shall not exceed a maximum of fifty (50) square <br />feet in area per face. <br />(VI) Trailer signs shall be limited to Commercial and <br />Industrial Districts unless otherwise provided for in this ordinance. <br />(VII) There shall be a maximum of (1) trailer sign per <br />business location with a minimum spacing of two hundred (200) feet between any <br />two (2) trailer signs on the same side of the road and no more than three (3) <br />trailer signs every one thousand (1,000) feet on the same side of the road. The <br />term business location refers to any parcel or lot of record on which there may <br />be one or more separate businesses. A shopping center with multiple tenants, is <br />classified as one business location. <br />(VIII) Each trailer sign, when in use, shall, in some <br />manner, be securely fastened to a permanent structure or to the ground; further, <br />each trailer sign shall have its wheels locked so that only the person renting, <br />leasing, owning, or providing the sign shall have the capability of unlocking the <br />wheels. <br />(IX) All incandescent bulbs in, on, or attached to any <br />trailer sign shall be P.A.R.-rated outdoor lamps of not more than one hundred <br />(100) watts; however, spot-type bulbs shall be prohibited. Flashing illumination <br />shall be prohibited on all trailer signs. <br />(X) Each trailer sign shall have permanently affixed <br />and prominently displayed, the name, business address, and/or phone number of the <br />owner of the sign. <br />(XI) The owner of any business location, with multiple <br />tenants, may elect to provide the tenants a reasonable opportunity to utilize <br />temporary advertising for special sales or promotions by entering into an <br />agreement with the City of Casselberry whereby all trailer signs would be <br />restricted from the property and permanent changeable copy ground signs could be <br />installed. In order to utilize this option, the owner of the business location <br />shall sign a Development Order that would prohibit trailer signs from being <br />placed on the property. The Development Order would permit the property owner <br />to erect a permanent, changeable copy reader board ground sign on the primary <br />roadway. A second reader board ground sign may be authorized on other roadway <br />frontages provided the roadway has a functional classification of collector or <br />higher classification or if the property is located on a corner lot. Each reader <br />board ground sign shall be enclosed in a brick or masonry base, or other material <br />as approved by the Community Development Department, whose exterior dimensions <br />shall not exceed a height of eight (8) feet or a length of ten (10) feet. The <br />copy area of the sign shall be limited to 50 square feet and will not be counted <br />against the allotted point-of-sale copy area. No reader board ground sign shall <br />be permitted closer than one hundred (100) feet from any ground/pole sign on the <br />property. <br />(b) Real Estate Sign. <br />(I) In residential districts signs shall not exceed <br />four (4) square feet in area unless the tract size is in excess of two (2) acres. <br />If the tract size is in excess of two (2) acres, signs shall not exceed twenty- <br />four (24) square feet. <br />(II) In residential districts where a subdivision is <br />being developed or offered for sale, a combination real estate and subdivision <br />sign, maximum size of sixty four (64) square feet, may be erected on each roadway <br />6 <br />
