She stated the funds for the sculpture center have been raised <br />through fundraising activities and not from the City's general fund. <br />A brief discussion ensued regarding the use of welding equipment and noise concerns. Mr. Parkhurst <br />asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition to, the request. No one <br />came forward. <br />After a brief discussion, Mr. Parkhurst asked for a motion to address SPR 11-05. Mr. Aramendia made a <br />motion to approve SPR 11-05 based on the staff report dated May 11, 2011 from Mr. Raasch to the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission as presented. Mr. Van Meter seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice <br />vote. <br />CU 11 ~04 <br />Mr. Raasch said upon review of the conditional use request, the Planning and Zoning Commission's <br />approval of CU 11-04 to allow for a civic and cultural use in a PS zoning district, for the property located at 95 Triplet <br />Lake Drive, would be based on the findings of fact and conclusions of the staff report dated May 11, 2011, and the <br />following conditions: <br />1, The conditional use shall be limited to the location of 95 Triplet Lake Drive. <br />2, The use shall remain in complete compliance with all City, County and State requirements. <br />3. There shall be no outside display or storage of goods, materials, services or vehicles. <br />4. The conditional use shall commence within 90 days of the approval. <br />5. The conditional use shall expire if the use is discontinued for more than 90 days, <br />6. All signage requires additional permit approval and must comply with all City and CRA requirements. <br />7. All of the above conditions shall be fully and faithfully executed or the conditional use shall become null <br />and void. <br />In response to the Commission's question, Mr. Raasch stated that the artists would have a 6 month to one <br />year use agreement with the City. <br />The applicant had nothing to add to the conditional use request. <br />Mr. Parkhurst asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition <br />to, the request.
