CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minates of February 28, 2011-Regular Meeting <br />Page 8 of 11 <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended approval of <br />Ordinance 11-1347 on first reading. <br />Commission Discussion: Commissioner Doerner suggested that property owners on the other side ofthe lake <br />should be notified of the change even if those properties are beyond the 500 ft. required radius as they will still <br />be impacted. Ms. Smith stated she was not certain if those property owners were notified for the first reading, <br />but could be included in notification of the second reading. <br />Public Hearing: Mayor Glancy opened the public hearing relative to Ordinance 11-1347. The following <br />individual came forward: <br />John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, spoke in favor of Ordinance 11-1347. <br />No one else came forward. Mayor Glancy closed the public hearing relative to Ordinance 11-1347. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Solomon moved to approve Ordinance 11-1347, on first reading, <br />as presented. Board Appointments - Lalces Management Advisorv Board and Parks & Recreation <br />Advisorv Board <br />Staff Presentation: Ms. Donna Gardner, City Clerk, stated applications for appointment to fill one (1) vacancy <br />on the Lakes Management Advisoly Board (term effective to January 2013 and one (1) vacancy on the Parlcs & <br />Recreation Advisoly Board (term effective to Jamialy 2012 were being presented for consideration. Mr. Ron <br />Bryan applied for the Lakes Management Advisoly Board and Ms. Cheryl Evans applied for the Parks & <br />Recreation Advisoly Board. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />
