CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION Minates of February 28, 2011-Regular Meeting Page 8 of 11 Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended approval of Ordinance 11-1347 on first reading. Commission Discussion: Commissioner Doerner suggested that property owners on the other side ofthe lake should be notified of the change even if those properties are beyond the 500 ft. required radius as they will still be impacted. Ms. Smith stated she was not certain if those property owners were notified for the first reading, but could be included in notification of the second reading. Public Hearing: Mayor Glancy opened the public hearing relative to Ordinance 11-1347. The following individual came forward: John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, spoke in favor of Ordinance 11-1347. No one else came forward. Mayor Glancy closed the public hearing relative to Ordinance 11-1347. MOTION: Commissioner Solomon moved to approve Ordinance 11-1347, on first reading, as presented. Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Miller. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5 - 0. No items were scheduled on this agenda. 11. Board Appointments - Lalces Management Advisorv Board and Parks & Recreation Advisorv Board Staff Presentation: Ms. Donna Gardner, City Clerk, stated applications for appointment to fill one (1) vacancy on the Lakes Management Advisoly Board (term effective to January 2013 and one (1) vacancy on the Parlcs & Recreation Advisoly Board (term effective to Jamialy 2012 were being presented for consideration. Mr. Ron Bryan applied for the Lakes Management Advisoly Board and Ms. Cheryl Evans applied for the Parks & Recreation Advisoly Board. Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget.
