Resolution 10-2173 - Agreement with Neel-Schaffer, Inc. for Primary Emergency <br />Debris Monitoring Services <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH NEEL-SCHAFFER, INC. FOR <br />EMERGENCY DEBRIS MONITORING SERVICES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Resolution 10-2173 provides for an agreement with Neel-Schaffer, Inc. to provide emergency <br />debris monitoring services for the City effective October 1, 2010 and remain in effect until November 1, 2013 <br />with the option of two one-year extensions. This agreement will allow for monitoring of debris loading sites, <br />temporary debris storage and reduction sites, and debris disposal sites following adebris-generating occurrence <br />such as a hurricane or other catash•ophic event. In an effort to ensure rapid response time and available <br />resoruces to the City, two vendors were selected to provide this service in the capacity of primary and <br />secondary: <br />Budget Impact: The City has secured pricing per the activity that will be performed and will be in effect for <br />the duration of the agreement. Per FEMA guidelines, most funds expended will be reimbursable to the City <br />provided cort•ect documentation and reporting of the expenditures are submitted to FEMA. In the event of a <br />qualifying emergency during the contract period, a budget amendment will require approval by the City <br />Commission to authorize spending out of fund balance reserves. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Administrative Services Director recommended approval of <br />Resolution 10-2173. <br />H. Resolution 10-2174 -Agreement with Corzo Castella Carballo Thompson Salman <br />(C3TS) for Secondaly Emergency Debris Monitoring Services <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH CORZO CASTELLA <br />CARBALLO THOMPSON SALMAN (C3TS) FOR EMERGENCY DEBRIS MONITORING <br />SERVICES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Resohtion 10-2174 provides for an agreement with Corzo Castella Carballo Thompson Salman <br />(C3TS) to provide emergency debris monitoring services for the City effective October 1, 2010 and remain in <br />effect until November 1, 2013 with the option of two one-year extensions.
