Special Event Permit Application from Casselberly Little League <br />Introduction: Consideration of a permit application submitted by Casselberry Little League to allow for the <br />sale of alcoholic beverages during the City of Casselberry's AI•t, Jazz & Golf Weekend event at Lake Concord <br />Park on October 23, 2010 is requested. Casselberly Little League has applied for and received a temporary 1- <br />daypermit as required by the State to sell alcohol for this event. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Administrative Services Director recommended approval of the <br />permit. <br />D. Resolution 10-2170 -Agreement with D & J Enterprises, Inc. for Primary <br />Emergency Debris Mana~;ement Services <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH D & J ENTERPRISES, INC. FOR <br />EMERGENCY DEBRIS MANAGEMENT SERVICES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Resolution 10-2170 provides for an agreement with D & J Enterprises, Inc. to provide <br />emergency debris management services for the City effective October 1, 2010 and remain in effect until <br />November 1, 2013 with the option of two one-year extensions. This agreement will allow-for emergency road <br />clearing, hazardous tree, tree stump and tree removal, and right-of--way debris management following adebris- <br />generating occurrence such as a hurricane or other catastrophic event. In an effort to ensure rapid response <br />time and available resources to the City, three vendors were selected to provide this service in the capacity of <br />primary, secondary, and tertiary. <br />Budget Impact: The City has secured pricing per the activity that will be performed and will be in effect for <br />the duration of the agreement. Per FEMA guidelines, most firnds expended will be reimbursable to the City <br />provided correct documentation and reporting of the expenditures are submitted to FEMA. In the event of a <br />qualifying emergency during the contract period, a budget amendment will require approval by the City <br />Commission to authorize spending out of fund balance reserves. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Administrative Services Director recommended approval of <br />Resolution 10-2170. <br />E. Resolution 10-2171 -Agreement with SRS, Inc. for Secondary Emergency Debris <br />Management Services <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH SRS, INC. FOR EMERGENCY <br />DEBRIS MANAGEMENT SERVICES; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABII,ITY AND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />
