CASSI;LBI;RRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of Aagust 9, 2010 -Regular Meeting <br />Page 8 of 12 <br />FUTURE LAND USE DESIGNATION; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, CODIFICATION, <br />SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Notice of Public Hearing: The Notice of Public Hearing relative to Ordinance 10-1336 was published in the <br />Orlando Sentinel on July 29, 2010. <br />Staff Presentation: Ms. Sandra Smith, Chief Planner, stated Ordinance 10-1336 provides for amendments to <br />Table 2-5.3 of the Unified Land Development Regulations (ULDR) which provides an exception for properties <br />that currently have an "Office Residential" firture land use designation but will be amended to "Commercial" <br />upon the adoption of Ordinance 10-1335. The City Commission approved Ordinance 10-1336 on first reading <br />on July 12, 2010. <br />Budget Impact: This item does not impact the City's Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended approval and <br />adoption of Ordinance 10-1336. <br />Public Hearing: No one came forward to address Ordinance 10-1336. Mayor Glancy closed the public <br />hearing relative to Ordinance 10-1336. <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Solomon moved to approve Ordinance 10-1336 on second and final <br />reading, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Hufford. <br />Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5 - 0. <br />E. Second Reading of Ordinance 10-1337 - Annexation of Anchor Road Area Parcels <br />The City Attorney read Ordinance 10-1337 by title as follows: <br />`SAN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, RELATING TO <br />ANNEXATION; MAKING FINDINGS; ANNEXING TO AND INCLUDING WITHIN THE <br />CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, CERTAIN LANDS <br />LOCATED IN SECTION 07, TOWNSHIP 21, RANGE 30; AN AREA LOCATED ALONG ANCHOR <br />ROAD NORTH OF LOTUS LAKE DRIVE; REDEFINING THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR THE INTERIM PROVISION OF LAND <br />DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS; PROVIDING THAT CERTAIN COUNTY LICENSEES <br />FOLLOWING THEIR BUSINESS, TRADE OR PROFESSION WITHIN THE LANDS TO BE <br />ANNEXED MAY CONTINUE TO FOLLOW SUCH BUSINESS, TRADE OR PROFESSION <br />THROUGHOUT THE ENTIItE CORPORATE LIlVIITS WIHTOUT THE NECESSITY OF <br />FURTHER QUALH'ICATION THEREFORE; PROVIDING THAT EFFECTIVE IN ACCORDNACE <br />WITH LAW THE AREA TO BE ANNEXED SHALL BE ASSESSED FOR PAYMENT OF <br />MUNICIPAL AD VALOREM TAXES; DIItECTING THE CITY CLERK TO FILE CERTIFIED <br />COPIES OF THE ORDINANCE WITH THE SEMINOLE COUNTY CLERK OF THE CIRCUIT <br />COURT AND THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA; AND PROVIDING <br />FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />
