Second Reading of Ordinance 10-1335 -Future Land Use Map Amendments for <br />Properties with an Office-Residential Desi n~ anon <br />The City Attorney read Ordinance 10-1335 by title as follows: <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, TO AMEND THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY'S COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, BY AMENDING THE OFICIAL FUTURE LAND <br />USE MAP DESIGNATION FROM "OFFICE RESIDENTIAL" TO "COMMERCIAL" DUE TO THE <br />ELIIVIINATION OF THE "OFFICE RESIDENTIAL" FUTURE LAND USE CATEGORY FROM <br />THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Notice of Public Hearing: The Notice ofPublic Hearing relative to Ordinance 10-1335 was published in the <br />Orlando Sentinel on July 29, 2010. <br />Staff Presentation: Ms. Sandra Smith, Chief Planner, stated Ordinance 10-1335 provides foI• amendments to <br />the Future Land Use Map (FLUM) changing the designation of fifteen (15) propelies within the City totaling <br />5.95 acres from "Office Residential' to "Commercial". Ordinance 09-1261 adopted on July 13, 2009 <br />eliminated the "Office Residential" firture land use designation. The City Commission approved Ordinance <br />10-1335 on first reading on July 12, 2010. <br />Budget Impact: This item does not impact the City's Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended approval and <br />adoption of Ordinance 10-1335. <br />Public Hearing: No one came forward to address Ordinance 10-1335. Mayor Glancy closed the public <br />hearing relative to Ordinance 10-1335. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Doerner moved to approve Ordinance 10-1335 on second and <br />final reading, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Hufford. <br />Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5 - 0. <br />D. Second Reading of Ordinance 10-1336 -Amendment to Unified Land Development <br />Regulations Providing an Exception to Future Land Use Desi n <br />The City Attorney read Ordinance 10-1336 by title as follows: <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA CODE OF ORDINANCES, PART III, UNIFIED LAND <br />DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS, CHPATER H, DISTRICT AND GENERAL REGULATIONS TO <br />AMEND ARTICLE V, SECTION 2-5.3, TABLE 2-5.3 LAND USE BY DISTRICT, TO MODIFY <br />FOOTNOTE 4 TO ALLOW SPECIFIC RESIDENTIAL USES ON SELECTED PROPERTIES WITH <br />AN OR (OFFICE RESIDENTIAL) ZONING MAP DESIGNATION AND C (COMMERCIAL) <br />
