Motion was seconded <br />by Commissionel• Miller. Motion caI•ried unanimously by voice vote 5 - 0. <br />B. Second Reading of Ordinance 10-1327 -Small Scale Future Land Use Map <br />Amendment -Seminola Boulevard and Nol•th Triplet Lake Drive (LPA 09-13~ <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 10-1327 by title as follows: <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />TO AMEND THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, BY AMENDING THE <br />OFFICIAL FUTURE LAND USE MAP, ESTABLISHING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP <br />DESIGNATION COMMERCIAL (C) FOR THE PARCELS DESCRIBED IN SECTION I OF THIS <br />ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Notice of Public Hearing: The Notice of Public Hearing relative to Ordinance 10-1327 was published in the <br />Orlando Sentinel on June 3, 2010. <br />Staff Presentation: Ms. Sandra Smith, Chief Planner, stated Ordinance 10-1327 provides for an amendment <br />to the Fuhlre Land Use Map (FLUM) for propelties located on Seminola Boulevard (Parcel ID #09-21-30-507- <br />0000-0230) and North Triplet Lake Drive (Parcel ID#09-21-30-507-OC00-0140), changing the classification <br />from Low and Medium Density Residential to Commercial The propel°ty owner is requesting the amendment <br />for the two vacant parcels totaling 0.61 acres at the southwest corner of Seminole Boulevard and Nolh Triplet <br />Drive. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of Ordinance 10-1327 at its March 10, <br />2010 meeting. The City Commission approved Ordinance 10-1327 on first reading on April 12, 2010. <br />Budget Impact: This item does not impact the City's Budget. <br />Staff Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended <br />approval of Ordinance 10-1327 on second and final reading. <br />Public Hearing: The following individuals came forward to address OI°dinance 10-1327: <br />1) Mr. James Fraleigh, 1290 Seminola Boulevard, spoke in opposition to Ordinance 10-1327. <br />2) Ms. Lilian Selph, applicant, 171 Quail Pond Circle, spoke in favor of Ordinance 10-1327. <br />3) Mr. Craig Tull, 420 Ranch Trail, spoke in favor of Ordinance 10-1327. <br />No one else came forward. Mayor Glancy closed the public hearing relative to Ordinance 10-1327. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Hufford moved to approve Ordinance 10-1327 on second and <br />final reading, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Doerner. <br />DISCUSSION: Commissioner Miller spoke in favor of Ordinance 10-1327. <br />Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5 - 0. <br />
