Second Reading of Ordinance 10-1326 -Small Scale Future Land Use Mai <br />Amendment Near Cypress Wap (LPA 09-12~ <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 10-1326 by title as follows: <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />TO AMEND THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, BY AMENDING THE <br />OFFICIAL FUTURE LAND USE MAP, ESTABLISHING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP <br />DESIGNATION OF PUBLIC SERVICE (PS) FOR THE PARCEL AS DESCRIBED IN SECTION I <br />OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE." <br />Notice of Public Heal°ing: The Notice of Public Hearing relative to Ordinance 10-1326 was published in the <br />Orlando Sentinel on June 3, 2010. <br />Staff Presentation: Ms. Sandra Smith, Chief Planner, stated Ordinance 10-1326 provides for an amendment <br />to the Future Land Use Map (FLUM) for a portion of Parcel 1D #07-21-30-514-0000-0070 located near <br />Cypress Way, changing the classification from Medium Density Residential to Public Service. The property <br />owner is requesting the amendment for the 9.428 acre parcel adjacent to the Evergreen Cemetery. The <br />Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of Ordinance 10-1326 at its March 10, 2010 <br />meeting. The City Commission approved Ordinance 10-1326 on first reading on April 12, 2010. Ms. Smith <br />stated the applicant has requested that the public hearing be continued in order to correct a minor error detected <br />in the legal description of the subject area. <br />Budget Impact: This item does not impact the City's Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended Ordinance <br />10-1326 be continued on second reading to a date certain of July 12, 2010, as requested by the applicant. <br />Public Hearing: The following individuals came forward to address Ordinance 10-1326: <br />1) MI•. John Casselbeny, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, voiced concerns regarding the legal description and <br />the related court order regarding the subject propel•ty. <br />No one else came forward. Mayor Glancy closed the public hearing relative to Ordinance 10-1326. <br />
