Resolution 10-2146 -Amendment No. 2 to the City of Casselbelry's Water Supply <br />Facilities Work Plan <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />APPROVING AMENDMENT 2 TO THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY'S WATER SUPPLY <br />FACILITIES WORK PLAN; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABH,ITY, AND EFFECTIVE <br />DATE." <br />Introduction: Resolution 10-2146 provides for the second amendment to the City's Water Supply Facilities <br />Work Plan which was initiated in 2007 to project the City's future water needs over a ten (10) year period, <br />identify, and prioritize primary and alternative sources to assist with meeting projected demands, and to <br />identify capital improvement projects. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Resolution <br />10-2146. <br />D. Distribution of Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Funds <br />Introduction: Consideration to approve the distribution of Countywide Edward Byrne Memorial Justice <br />Assistance Grant (JAG) funds in the amount of $23 0,104. $123,474 of the funds will be utilized to administer <br />the services provided by the Seminole County Juvenile Assessment Center. $106,630 will be utilized to <br />support proactive Multi-Agency Gang Task Force operations to reduce, enforce, and identify gang activity <br />throughout Seminole County. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Interim Police Chiefrecormnended approval ofthe distribution <br />of grant funds for the aforementioned programs. <br />E. Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Application <br />Introduction: Consideration to apply for the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant in the amount <br />of $14,513 to upgrade and replace the current vide and slide card reader security systems in the Police <br />Department is requested. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Interim Police Chief recommended approval of the grant <br />application in the amount of $14,513 to upgrade and replace current video and slide-card reader security <br />systems. <br />
