It was noted that the <br />reduced lien amount was sufficient to cover administrative costs incurred by the City. <br />MOTION: Commissioner Doerner moved to reduce liens for case numbers CE-09-02534, <br />CE-09-02534, and CE-09-02537 from $4,250 to $1,050, to be paid within 90 <br />days or the lien fine amounts revert back to the original amounts. Motion was <br />seconded by Commissioner Hufford. Motion carried 3 - 2 (Commissioner <br />Miller and Vice Mayor Solomon dissenting) by voice vote. <br />B. Designation of Voting Delegate to the Florida League of Cities 84ti' Annual <br />C',~nference <br />Staff Presentation: Ms. Barbara Lipscomb, City Manager, stated the Florida League of Cities' 84f' Annual <br />Conference will be held in Hollywood, Florida on August 19 - 21, 2010. The voting delegate must be <br />registered and attend the conference. Election of the Florida League of Cities' leadership and adoption of <br />resolutions are undertaken at the business meeting held during the conference. One official from each <br />municipality can be designated as a voting delegate. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the City Clerk recommended consideration of designating a voting <br />delegate for the Florida League of Cities' 84"' Annual Conference. <br />MOTION: Commissionel• Hufford moved to appoint Mayor Charlene Glancy as the City <br />of Casselberry's Voting Delegate to the Florida League of Cities' 84"' Annual <br />Conference. Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Solomon. Motion carried <br />unanimously by voice vote 5 - 0. <br />13. ICiJSSI ITT I'I'E S <br />A. Municipal Advisory Committee (Metroplan) Report -Mayor G1ancX <br />Mayor Glancy reported she attended the most recent Municipal Advisory Committee meeting and the Central <br />Florida Transportation Funding Task Force meeting. Items discussed were assumptions for firture revenues <br />and funding of the long range transportation plans approved by Metroplan back in 2009, which included all <br />local option gas taxes being implemented by 2015 by all counties, transportation '/2 cent surtaxes being <br />implemented by 2015 by all charter counties, and Seminole County's current one cent infiastrticture sales tax <br />extended via a referendum when it expires in 2011 with 75% of the annual yield would be committed to <br />transportation projects and 25% would be committed to school capital needs. <br />
