Mr. Aramendia made a motion to provide a <br />favorable recommendation from the Local Planning Agency to the City Commission for ~B 09-12 based on staff <br />memo dated February 24, 2010 from Ms. Smith to the Planning and honing Commission members as presented. Amending the f=uture Land Use Map of properties <br />located along U5 Highway 17.92. <br />Ms. Sandra Smith, Chief Planner, reviewed the information provided in her memorandum dated February <br />24, 2010, to the Gity of Casselberry Local Planning Agency (a copy is on file in the Community Development <br />Department). Ms. Smith stated that the property owners were provided written notification which requested they <br />respond to the proposed change. Ms. Smith stated that the City received a few petitions from property owners that <br />were not interested in going forward with the proposed future land use change. She said that information would be <br />provided at the end of each presentation to assis# the local Planning Agency with their motion. <br />Ms. Smith stated that the information provided for LPA 09-06 for US Highway 17-92 would also be utilized <br />when reviewing LPA 09-07 for the State Road 436 Corridor. Ms. Smith presented a PowerPoint Presentation to the <br />Local Planning Agency (a copy is attached and made a part of the minutes). She stated that with the new future land <br />use designation of Major Thoroughfare Mixed-Use (MTMU), two new zoning districts have been created: PMX-Mid <br />and PMX-High. <br />
