Mr. Parkhurst asked the applicant #o came forward. Mr, Thomas Francis, 215 North Eola Qrive, Orlando, Florida came forward. Mr. Francis said they support staftas recommendations and he is availabie to answer any questions, Mr. Parkhurst asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition to, the request. No one came folward, Mr, Parkhurst asked for a motion to address SPFt 09-15. Mr. Aramendia recommended approval of SPft 09-15 Geneva Schcol site plan based on the staff report dated January 13, 2010 from Ms. Smith to the Planning and Zoning Commission as presented. Mr. Van Meter seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously by voice vote. Ninth item of Business: ZB 09.11: Parkin~c, Public hearing for proposed amendments to ULDR Section 3- 10.9, Parking in residential districts. Ms. Sandra Smith, Chief Planner, reviewed the information provided in her memorandum dated January 13, 2010, to the City of Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission (a copy is on file in the Community Development Department}. !n response to the Commission's question, Ms, Smith stated that the Gity Commission eliminated the visitor recreational vehicle parking permit and added the ability to have a 24 hour period for parking in the front yard for loadinglunloading and repairs. A general discussion ensued regarding increasing the maximum fence height to 8 feet. Ms, Smifh explained that if the increase in the maximum fence height was approved, additional changes to the code would be necessary, A general discussicn ensued regarding the landscaping requirements for pervious parking areas, pervious driveway materials, enforcement of restrictions and height and length requirements of recreational vehicles. In response to the Commission's question regarding parking private vehicles behind the front facade of homes with side entry garages, Ms. Smifh stated that she would research it and make the necessary changes to clarify the Code.
