Workshop to <br />develop zoning district criteria consistent with the new MTMU future land use category. <br /> <br />Ms. Sandra Smith, Chief Planner, reviewed staff memo dated January 9, 2009 (a copy is on file in the <br /> <br />Community Development Department.) Ms. Smith distributed and reviewed a revised draft ordinance for the Major <br /> <br />Thoroughfare Mixed Use (MTMU) Zoning District (a copy is attached and made a part of the minutes). Ms. <br /> <br />explained that the revised ordinance does not address the overlay district. Ms. Smith stated that the City will a <br /> <br />consultant to assist staff with the development of the design criteria. She said that Section 6 of the ordinance has <br /> <br />been eliminated at this point in time and will be addressed at a future date. Ms. Smith explained that the size of the <br /> <br />units in the Planned Mixed-Use Mid-Rise zoning district shown in Table 2-5.4 may change when the design is <br />
