PRAB Advisory Board Minutes <br />August 22, 2006 <br />Page 4 <br />Brittany Gardens- <br />After discussing the 2 partials, one No, and two Yes. The Board agreed to grant partial <br />funding of $445. <br /> <br />Villas of Casselberry- <br /> <br />Butch Spencer, Phyllis Sheppard, Pete Monaco and Marianne Kappel agreed to grant <br /> this request. Liz Torres did not vote because this member lives in this community. <br /> <br />Casselcreek POA – <br /> <br />Butch Spencer agreed that the lighting was needed and that the price of the light poles <br /> was within reason. <br /> Phyllis Sheppard was also in agreement because where they are located. <br /> Pete Monaco disagreed because as of today they have not provided the beautification <br /> updates from last year. <br /> Marianne Kappel supported the project because it relates to safety, no enough lighting <br />and they are located behind Skating Ring. Liz Torres was also in favor. <br />Pete Monaco did not he was supposed consider safety, and change his vote. Pete <br />motioned to accept and seconded by Phyllis Sheppard. <br /> <br />Northshore Cortyard- <br />Marianne Kappel voted for lighting only, but she also commented that she could be <br />convinced otherwise. <br />Frayda Morris asked to speak; she addressed the Board to explain about this project. At <br />this time there’s nothing at the entrance which faces Seminola Blvd. This community is <br />located across the Fire Station 21. It will benefit to everyone driving on this main road in <br />the City of Casselberry. <br /> <br />Southport – <br />Butch Spencer felt that $3,000 should be applied; Marianne Kappel had an amount of <br />$3,700 to be able to accommodate all others. <br /> <br />Mr. Fortini advised the Board of the amount granted at this time was over the $25,000 in the <br />budget. The total at this time was $27,897, which was $2,897 over budget. <br /> <br />The Board discussed that they needed to review each project and adjust the amounts granted. <br />After careful consideration the amounts were adjusted as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />1. Villas of Casselberry $5,000 $3,500 <br /> 2. Lake Kathryn $1,669 $1,669 <br /> 3. Brittany Gardens $1,607 $ 445 <br /> 4. Southport $5,000 $3,500 <br /> 5. Windward Square $4,135 $4,135 <br /> 6. Casselcreek $5,000 $5,000 <br /> 7. Park Maitland (Entrance) $2,123 $2,123 <br /> 8. Northshore $4,000 $4,000 <br /> 9.
