<br />PRAB Advisory Board Minutes <br />August 22, 2006 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />Southport <br /> Priority Average 4.2 <br /> 3 Yes (Pete Monaco, Butch Spence & Liz Torres) <br /> 2 Yes – Partial (Phyllis Sheppard & Marianne) <br /> <br />Villas of Casselberry <br /> Priority Average 3.0 <br /> 4 Yes (Phyllis Sheppard, Pete Monaco, Butch Spence & Marianne Kappel) <br /> Liz Torres abstained from voting because she lives this community. <br /> <br />Windward Square <br /> Priority Average 4.6 <br /> 4 Yes (Phyllis Sheppard, Butch Spence, Liz Torres & Marianne Kappel) <br /> 1 Yes – Partial (Pete Monaco) <br /> <br />Mr. Fortini once again addressed the Board to announce the priority results and the amounts <br />awarded so the Board could start their discussion accordingly. <br /> <br />Park Maitland Villas II - Pool <br />Phyllis Sheppard felt that the request was more of a maintenance issue. The interior area <br />by the pool will not benefit all residents in Casselberry, only those that live in the <br />community. Mr. Fortini once again explained the difference between maintenance and <br />upgrading an area to improve the quality of life for all residents. <br />Pete Monaco did not feel that the Commission will approve the full amount based on the <br />requirements of the grant. <br />Harold Steward from Park Maitland Villas asked to speak and explained how they had <br />come up with the amount requested, and that it included lights as well. <br />Marianne Kappel suggested based on the money already allocated by the association the <br />amount of $525 seemed reasonable. Butch Spencer made a motion to pass, seconded by <br />Pete Monaco. <br /> <br />Park Maitland Villas I – Entrance <br /> Mr. Steward once again addressed the Board to offer more information about the project. <br /> Pete Monaco moved to approve, seconded by Phyllis Sheppard. <br /> <br />Windward - Front Wall Beautification <br /> Butch Spencer had questions about the project itself. Julie Dross answered his questions. <br />Liz Torres, Phyllis Sheppard, Marianne Kappel and Pete Monaco voted for the full <br />amount because this project will be appreciated by all residents of Casselberry that travel <br />the area. <br />Pete Monaco move to approve, seconded by Butch Spencer. <br /> <br />Lake Kathryn- <br />After going over the grant request, Liz Torres motioned to accept, seconded by Phyllis <br />Sheppard. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />(over) <br /> <br />
