CITY OF CASSELBERRY
CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD MEETING
OCTOBER 09, 2008 PAGE 8

Mr. Henderson stated he remembered they had a meeting, the property was in really bad shape, Ippolito was in
charge and at some point there after it was clean. This was clean at the time Mr. Ippolito was still here.

CES Brown stated that due to the testimony he was hearing from the Board, the City would no have any
problem withdrawing the case from the agenda 10/09/2008, and perhaps a recommendation from the CEB
directing the matter to have the fine dismissed by City Council.

Charlene Glancy asked Mr. Brown why this is coming back to the Board a year later.

CES Brown stated he is doing internal housekeeping, trying to find out what has and has not been done.

Robert C. Flint made a motion that the Board recommend to the City Commission that the lien in CEB
Case # 07-00867 be rescinded in its entirety. The reason for the rescission of the lien is because of Board
recollection of the issue appeared to be cleaned up in time.

Kathleen A. Hale seconded the motion.

The motion passed unanimously.

CE-08-00341 4100 S. Hi2hwav 17/92 Carr.. Michael & Carolyn /owners over2rown
property 70-2(C)

Ketron Brown, Code Enforcement Supervisor advised that this case was being presented for a recommendation
to pursue foreclosure or other action to collect fines imposed on this property. This case was first heard by the
CEB on 04/10/2008 with a Finding of Fact at that time and a fine of $75.00 per day would be imposed if not
corrected by 04/25/2008. A Subsequent Hearing was held on 05/08/2008, the property was non-compliant and
the fine was imposed. Order Imposing Fine was recorded in Seminole County public records on OS/23/2008.
The fine on this property is currently at $12,300.00. Part of the problem there was managerial shift. There have
been an enormous and substantial amount of changes done; the property was brought into compliance as of
10/06/2008. The manager was present at the 10/09/2008 Hearing to ask for consideration in preparing an
offer/presentation, request in dealing with the issue of the fines.

Richard L. Henderson asked there was a managerial change but the same owner.

CES Brown stated yes, the same owners.

John Winkleblack, 15515 Trousdale Street, Ferndale FL stated he is the new manager at the north location.

CES Brown stated it was his recommendation that this case be continued.

Robert C. Flint made a motion that CEB Case #08-00341 be continued to the 11/13/2008 Code
Enforcement Board Meeting, or to the next regularly scheduled meeting.

Aivera Armour seconded the motion.

The motion passed unanimously.
