CITY OF CASSELBERRY CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD MEETING OCTOBER 09, 2008 PAGE 7 James Fouroozi, 1050 Landmark Lane, Casselberry stated when they received the Notice that they had to clean the property they hired a contractor; they came with a backhoe and removed all the trash. Mr. Fouroozi stated he went to City hall Friday at 4:00 pm and talked to the lady, that they did their work. Mr. Fouroozi stated they had the canceled check that they paid the contractor to clean the site. Somehow in the system it went on and on, according to the paper work it said they cleaned it in September, they didn't, they did that in August, actually the last day in July. Richard L. Henderson asked if after it was cleaned he came to the City and spoke. Mr. Fouroozi stated yes, the lady was there, she does not remember. They did their work and she said its 4:00 and nobody is here, so it would be done Monday, there might be one or two day's fine. Mr. Fouroozi stated then he left, after that they did not hear anything. Mr. Fouroozi stated he spoke with the lady yesterday and she said she does not remember it. Mr. Henderson stated Mr. Fouroozi kept saying the lady, was he talking about Ms. Jones. Mr. Fouroozi stated yes. Brenda Jones, Recording Secretary, Code Enforcement, stated she had instructed Mr. Fouroozi to call Tim Ippolito, Fire Marshal who was over Code Enforcement at the time, since he was the one who did those inspections. Ms. Jones asked Mr. Fouroozi ifhe had called Mr. Ippolito. Mr. Fouroozi stated no, after he came to the office, he was told the inspector was not there it is 4:00 and they would come Monday. Ms. Jones stated she was not going to talk about a year ago. Ms. Jones asked if he had called Tim to ask about this when he came in just the other day. Mr. Fouroozi stated no he spoke to Mr. Brown, he was told he had to speak to Mr. Brown and Mr., Brown said bring what you have. Ms. Jones stated Tim was the one who did the inspection; he would be the one that would remember the most of what he saw. Mr. Fouroozi stated he did not want to waist the time of these honorable people, he wanted to resolve it and show the evidence. Mr. Fouroozi continued. Mr. Henderson asked the date of the canceled check. Mr. Fouroozi stated August 1st, 2007. Robert Flint stated he remembered specifically that it was clean like within a week from the meeting. Mr. Henderson stated Mr. Ippolito was there and testified, he does remember it was cleaned up. Ms. Nutcher stated there was a Subsequent Hearing where somebody said there was non-compliance on 08/09/2007.
