City Center Steering Committee Report - Vice Mavor Hufford Vice Mayor Hufford stated the City Center Steering Committee held a meeting on September 15, 2008 at I :00 p.m. and was given a presentation by the developer ofthe proposed conceptual plans for the City Center. Vice Mayor Hufford noted the conceptual plans will be presented to the Community Redevelopment and the City Commission at ajoint meeting to be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. in the Police Station Multi-Purpose Room. Commissioner Doerner stated she was not sure if she would be able to attend the special meeting scheduled for September 30"', and felt the meeting should be held when all the members can attend. Commissioner Doerner suggested that the meeting be held at 7 :00 p.m. in order to be more accessible to the public. No one else commented on the matter. Mayor Goffstated the special joint meeting will remain scheduled for September 30'" at 6:00 p.m. C. Council of Local Governments in Seminole County (CALNO) Report - Vice Mavor Hufford No report. D. Seminole County Redevelopment Planning Agencv - Commissioner Solomon No report. E. Envision Seminole Board Report - Mavor Goff Commissioner Miller stated a meeting was held on September 19, 2008 and noted there is a new Leadership Seminole class consisting of 32 people. Items discussed at the meeting included an update on hometown democracy and the tax shift burden. F. Mavors/Managers Group Report - Mavor Goff Ms. Barbara Lipscomb, City Manager distributed a memorandum regarding the property tax discussion held at the September 18, 2008 Mayors/Managers Group meeting.
