Special Invoice Report <br /> <br />Brown, Garganese, Weiss & D'Agresta, P.A. <br />General City Attorney Services for July 2008 <br />Invoice No. 29609 $10,998.16 <br />. Legal Services for Rowan South Construction Litigation <br />Invoice No. 29463 $ 511.50 <br /> <br />Fisher & Phillips, LLP <br />City Labor Attorney Services for July 2008 <br />Invoice No. 22751-526301 <br /> <br />$ 2,881.85 <br /> <br />Introduction: The Special Invoice Report policy was adopted by the Commission to streamline the financial <br />process for approval of certain invoices, awards of bids, initial contracts and change orders on a project in <br />excess of 5% of the total project. <br /> <br />Budget Impact: Funds for the City Attorney invoices are available in the FY 2008 Administratioo/Legal <br />budget from Account No. 001-0140-514.31.01. Funds for the City Labor Attorney invoice are available in <br />the FY 2008 Administration/Legal budget from Account No. 001-0140-514.31.02. <br /> <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and staff recommended approval of the Special Invoice Report. <br /> <br />B. K-9 Retirement Agreement - Purchase ofK-9 "Noose" <br /> <br />Introduction: K-9 "Noose" is approximately 9 years old and has been in the sole custody of Officer Ali <br />Shurdom. Officer Shurdom wishes to take sole possession and purchase "Noose" from the City for the <br />amount of$I,OO. The City has permitted such a purchase by previous K-9 handlers, with the last approved <br />purchase being for K-9 "Rudy" in 2006. <br /> <br />Budget Impact: There is no budget impact as a result ofthis agreement. The Police Department anticipated <br />the need to retire "Noose" during the next fiscal year and funds have been allocated to purchase a <br />replacement K-9 in the proposed Fiscal Year 2008/2009 budget. <br /> <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Police Chief recommended approval of the purchase <br />agreement between the City and Officer Shurdom for the purchase ofK-9 "Noose". <br /> <br />C. Resolution 08-1893 - First Amendment to the Community Development Block Grant <br />Agreement with Seminole County for the Anchor Road Improvements Proiect and <br />related Budget Amendment #08-057 <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE <br />
