All were present. <br /> <br />5. MINUTES <br /> <br />A. Minutes of July 28, 2008 - Regular Meeting <br /> <br />Mayor Goff stated the City Clerk requested the July 28, 2008 minutes be removed from the agenda prior to <br />the meeting and noted the minutes will be presented for consideration at next City Commission meeting. <br /> <br />6. PRESENTATIONS/COMMENDATIONS <br /> <br />A. Proclamation - Retirement ofK-9 "Noose" <br /> <br />Mayor Goff presented a proclamation honoring the retirement of K-9 "Noose" after 9 years of service to <br />Officer Ali Shurdom. <br /> <br />7. CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br /> <br />Mayor Goff announced that persons who wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the <br />agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. The following individuals came forward: <br /> <br />I) Mr. Craig Tull, 420 Ranch Trail, reiterated his concerns about the commercial vehicle <br />ladder rack regulations, selective enforcement of the new regulations, and the safety benefits <br />of ladder racks. Mr. Tull also reiterated his request to the City Manager to show him how <br />the new regulations have improved property values. Commissioner Doerner stated the issue <br />has been discussed by the City Commission and she was willing to discuss the matter <br />individually with Mr. Tull again after the meeting. <br /> <br />2) Mr. John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, voiced concerns regarding the some <br />ofthe drainage and flooding issues that occurred near Lake Kathryn during Tropical Storm <br />Fay. <br /> <br />No one else requested to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. <br />
