The requirement of the landscape buffer on the western side of the property and the sidewalk were discussed. The <br /> <br />applicant stated they would relocate the sidewalk onto their property if necessary. <br /> <br />Mr, Kelley asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition to, <br /> <br />request Mr. John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida came forward, Mr. Casselberry questioned <br /> <br />lots involved in the project. Mr, <br /> <br />recommended that ground penetration needed to completed <br /> <br /> <br />item is approved and the grading of the property is started, <br /> <br />Mr, Casselberry suggested scattering the green spaces on the property to accommodate the existing trees. <br /> <br />A brief discussion ensued regarding the southern and western landscape buffers, Ms. Smith made a correction to <br /> <br />her staff report stating that the site plan and the conditional use do not require approval by the City Commission, <br />Mr, Kelley asked for a motion to address SPR 06-0S, Mr. Buchanan recommended approval of SPA 06-03 based on <br /> <br />staff's recommendations outlined in the staff report dated August 4, 2006 from Ms, Smith and modifying condition 1 a and <br /> <br />condition 2 to state: <br /> <br />1. A minimum 10' wide landscape strip will not be provided on the southern and western side of Lot 2 but will share <br />the 10' wide landscape strip provided on Lot 1. There shall be no walkway intrusion within the landscape strip, <br />A minimum 5' wide sidewalk is required on either Lot 1 or Lot 2. <br />2. Contribution to the City Tree Bank, due to the removal of 336 trees, in the amount of $88,000 $84,000 for Lot 1 <br />and $71,000 for Lot 2. <br /> <br />Mr, Henson seconded the motion, The motion passed unanimously by voice vote, <br /> <br />Ms. Smith requested the Planning and Zoning Commission approve CU 06-12, the height variance, for Cambridge <br />Oaks office-retail center, located on US Highway 17-92, based on the information provided in the staff report dated August 4, <br /> <br />2006, <br /> <br />A brief discussion ensued regarding the inconsistency in the height elevations shown on the site plan.
