<br />Mr, Kelley asked for a motion to address CU 06-12, Mr. Henson recommended approval of CU 06-12 based on
<br />memo dated August 4, 2006 from Ms, Smith to the Planning and Zoning Commission, Mr. Van Meter seconded the
<br />
<br />motion. The motion

<br />Ms, Smith requested the Planning and Zoning Commission recommend approval to the City Commission for
<br />
<br />01, the preliminary plat for Cambridge Oaks, based on the information provided in the staff report dated August 4, 2006 and
<br />the preliminary plat dated August 4, 2006 (Exhibit C), and subject to the following conditions:
<br />
<br />1, The preliminary plat shall revised prior to City Commission review to reflect changes that are required by the
<br />City Attorney, City Surveyor and staff, The revised preliminary plat shall be submitted in the following form prior
<br />to review by the City Commission: (14) 11" x 17" copies and (2) 24" x 36" copies,
<br />
<br />2, The final plat shall be processed and recorded prior to sales of property within the replat. A performance bond in a
<br />form acceptable to the Public Works Department or issuance of a certificate of completion is required prior to
<br />recording the final plat. The Property Owner's Association documents are needed for review by the City Attorney
<br />prior to the final plat approval
<br />
<br />3, The applicant, per F,S, Chapter 177, is responsible for the City Surveyor's fees, Prior to recording the final plat,
<br />the applicant shall submit a check made payable to the "City of Casselberry" to cover the City surveyor's fees.
<br />
<br />4, After City Commission approval, the applicant shall provide the City with a check for the recording fees (made
<br />payable to "Seminole County"), (1) executed mylar of the replat for recording, and any other information
<br />requested as part of compliance to F,S, Chapter 177,
<br />
<br />A brief discussion ensued regarding the width of the tract required for the road project. Mr, Henson said he was
<br />
<br />concerned that the 31' would etch that amount in stone, Mr, Hale stated that it is a preliminary plat and changes can be
<br />
<br />made, Mr, Hale felt they could reach an agreement with the Public Works Department.
<br />
<br />Mr. Kelley asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition to, the
<br />
<br />request. Mr, John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, Casselberry, Florida, came forward. Mr, Casselberry said he
<br />didn't know if the volume is there to justify the signal improvement. Mr. Casselberry suggested opening a connection between
<br />Sunset Drive and the Home Depot entrance and pull traffic from Sunset Drive to Highway 17-92. He felt that would be a
<br />
<br />valuable addition to the traffic pattern,
<br />Mr. Kelley asked for a motion to address SP 06-01. Mr. Weinroth recommended approval of SP 06-01 based on the
<br />staff's recommendations and the staff report dated August 4, 2006, Mr, Parkhurst seconded the motion, The motion passed
<br />
<br />unanimously by voice vote,
