<br />Planning & Zoning Commission! <br />Local Planning Agency <br />April 26, 2006 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />family residential district for the public hearing on May 10, 2006 and the Commission would have an opportunity to <br /> <br />review and edit it at that time. <br /> <br />Mr. Burlingame asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition <br /> <br />to, the request. Ms. Angie Barnes, 1308 Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida came forward. Ms. Barnes questioned the <br /> <br />length requirement for a F350 pickup truck. A brief discussion ensued regarding the length criteria. <br /> <br />Ms. Lodi Hillard, 1233 Quintuplet, Casselberry, Florida came forward. Ms. Hillard questioned the operation <br /> <br />of a tree service business from a residential address. Ms. Jimette Cook, Chief Code Enforcement Officer, stated she <br /> <br />is not aware of any complaints about a tree service business and she would discuss the matter with Ms. Hillard after <br /> <br />the meeting. <br /> <br />Ms. Cook explained that home-based businesses are allowed; however, they are not allowed to bring <br /> <br />commercial vehicles or employees to the home. Ms. Cook explained that the businesses are at work during the day <br /> <br />and therefore the inspectors do not see the commercial vehicles. Ms. Cook stated that the Police Department is <br /> <br />empowered, authorized, and encouraged to write citations to address commercial vehicles parked in residential <br /> <br />districts. Ms. Cook suggested residents contact the Code Enforcement Department during business hours and <br /> <br />contact the Police Department after hours. <br /> <br />Mr. John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, Casselberry, Florida came forward. Mr. Casselberry <br /> <br />asked for clarification on a pickup truck without a bed. Mr. Casselberry was concerned that a pickup truck without a <br /> <br />bed is not street legal. <br /> <br />Fourth Item of Business: LPA 06-08: ULDR Section 3-10.9. ParkinQ of vehicles in residential districts. <br />Continued. Workshop to review Sections A2, A3, and B regarding parking of recreational eQuipment in <br />residential districts, including a temporary use permit. <br /> <br />Ms. Sandra Smith, Acting Community Development Director, reviewed the information provided in her <br /> <br />memorandum dated April 17, 2006, to the City of Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission (a copy is on file in <br />the Community Development Department).
