Board of Commissioners on a <br />monthly basis concerning our ongoing work and projects. This report will be submitted by <br />Director so that the agency board commissioners will be better versed in the work that is <br />ongoing and being accomplished, both inside and outside the CRA. <br /> <br />Discussion: Here is an update on many of the projects and programs that are being supported <br />by or conducted in or near the Redevelopment Area. <br /> <br />CR.A. <br /> <br />The Concord Lake Stormwater Park: Design is at 95% and the bidding for the construction <br />will proceed this summer. <br /> <br />The Button Road and US 17-92 si2,nal mast-arm upgr'ade: The project has been bid and <br />awarded and construction is starting. The contractor is using the Concord Lake site as a <br />temporary yard for the construction. <br /> <br />Transportation Concurrency Exception Area: The Department of Community Affairs has <br />finished their review and returned their comments. They have pointed out three areas that they <br />feel changes are necessary. Our consultant Kimley Horn and Associates are working with <br />DCA to craft the changes and the City has 60 days to adopt the TCEA with changes. <br /> <br />Development Agreement for City Center Development: The developer Century Retail <br />meet with the Downtown Steeling Committee on Monday, September 15, 2008 to give an <br />update and to discuss what we need to do. <br /> <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />Meet and Greet visits: <br />Since our last meeting the Economic Development Coordinator, Pamela Lynch has done <br />"meet and greet" visits and to the following businesses since the last CRA meeting: <br />
