CDM

Scope of Work

Task 5 - Stormwater

Subtask 5.1 - Stonnwater Pond Reuse Calculatious
The ENGINEER will prepare calculations for the proposed storm water reuse pond
(i.e., the existing wet detention pond on Triplet Lake Drive). Previously the
ENGINEER's original scope of services (dated September 24, 2007) did not include for
the design of such a system. The ENGINEER will prepare calculations that are
consistent with SJRWMD's design criteria and guidelines for stormwater reuse
systems (Chapter 40C-42, F.A.C.). The ENGINEER will also modify the design
drawings that show a clear intent of the stormwater reuse system as requested by the
SJRWMD in the RAI dated July 15, 2008. It is assumed that by using the Triplet lake
stormwater pond for reuse, it will not require an additional permit modification by
the SJRWMD. If the SJRWMD does require an additional permit modification for this
system, this will be considered additional services.

Subtask 5.2 - FDOT Drainage Conllection Penn it
The ENGINEER will prepare the necessary materials to obtain a FDOT drainage
connection permit which is required for modifying the outfall pipe on US 17-92 with
the baffle box. As required by FDOT, the ENGINEER will simulate the mean annual,
25-yrj24-hr, and 100-yrj24-hr design storm events using the updated ICPR model
developed under the original scope of services (dated September 24, 2007) and
provide those results as part of the submittal package. Should FDOT require
additional storm event simulations, this will constitute additional services.

Task 6 - Wetland Impacts

Subtask 6.1 - Coordinatioll
The ENGINEER will coordinate with the CITY's environmental consultant to address
the SJRWMD's concerns outlined in the RAI dated July 15, 2008 regarding wetland
impacts. As directed by the CITY, the original scope of services (dated September 24,
2007) included a limited mitigation plan which assumed that impacts to wetlands
would require a planting plan of new wetland plants and removal of exotic species
along the shoreline of the study area. The SJRWMD has indicated that a vegetation
plan alone may not be sufficient to obtain an ERP. Based on coordination with the
CITY's environmental consultant, the ENGINEER will modify the design drawings
accordingly to address the SJRWMD's concerns as well as to provide for mitigation
where necessary.

Task 7 - Additional Drawings Review

Subtask 7.1 -100% Revised Desigll Drawings
The ENGINEER will prepare 100 percent design drawings that address the CITY's 90
percent review comments dated August 12, 2008 as well as the SJRWMD's comments
outlined in the RAI dated July 15, 2008. The ENGINEER will attend one review
meeting with designated CITY personnel for review and comment. Review comments
received from the CITY will be incorporated into revised 100 percent construction
documents as mutually agreed upon by the CITY and ENGINEER. The ENGINEER
will prepare a final opinion of the probable construction cost estimate at the revised
100% milestone. This will be in place of the Engineer's Opinion of Probable

S:\OOOOIBWMNElICasselberrylSoopearld Budgel\Scope_OaSepOB docx

4
