CDM

Scope of Work

relocated it to the west side of Lake Concord as per direction of the CITY where the
fountain equipment already exists.

Subtask 3.5 - Pull Box/Water Feature C01ltrol Pa1leVLP-2 Placeme1lt
The ENGINEER will re-design the configuration for the amphitheatre pull box,
interactive water feature control panel, and LP-2 in the vicinity of the interactive
water feature currently shown on the 90 percent design drawings. The interactive
water feature (being designed by others) currently calls for the installation of a
subterranean equipment vault measuring 96"x72"x72". The ENGINEER will re-
design the configuration of these three items such that they are pulled closer together
as well as design for conflicts due to the large size of the vault for the interactive
water feature.

Sub task 3.6 Receptacles Re-Design
The ENGINEER will modify the receptacle layout as per the CITY's request to meet a
minimum of 30-foot spacing as well as adding three receptacles spaced 50 to 60 feet
apart on the outside of the sidewalk ring (sculpture garden area).

Task 4 - Structural

Subtask 4.1 - Retaining Wall Desig1l
The ENGINEER will design the retaining wall associated with the stage area and the
dry detention pond. The 90 percent drawings previously specified FDOT gravity wall
for the dry detention pond but the CITY requests use of decorative split-face block.
Design of a retaining wall for the stage area was previously not included in the
original scope of services dated September 24, 2007. Cascading block will be called
out in the design drawings for the stage area.

Subtask 4.2 - Boardwalk Re-Design
The ENGINEER will re-design portions of the boardwalk such that the 300-foot semi-
oval boardwalk loop behind the amphitheatre is removed. The ENGINEER will
reconfigure the remaining boardwalk at its access from the south shore as needed to
reflect this as well as to ensure the design maintains ADA compliance. Railing for the
boardwalk will be black powder coated commercial grade aluminum picket rail
(straight).

Subtask 4.3 - Stage Re-Desigll .
The ENGINEER will revise the design of the stage to a sem!-oval shape, so that the
current stage dimensions would be inscribed within the semi-oval. The design will
call for a concrete paver/brick paver surface (concrete pavers as bid alternate) as well
as decorative black rail at lake's edge. The stage area will be re-designed such that
there is a smooth transition into the sidewalk so that it doubles as a lake overlook for
pedestrians. The ENGINEER will re-design the stage area such that is supports
vehicular loads and temporary stages. A vertical structure over the stage will no
longer be included as part of the design.

S:IOOOOlBWMNBICasselberrylScopeaM Budgel!.SCOPe_OaSepOa.docx

3
