Prosecution of City Ordinances (Quarter April I - June 30, 2008) <br />Invoice No. CA062008 $ 300.00 <br /> <br />Introduction: The Special Invoice Report policy was adopted by the Commission to streamline the financial <br />process for approval of certain invoices, awards of bids, initial contracts and change orders on a project in <br />excess of 5% of the total project. <br /> <br />Budget Impact: Funds for these invoices are available in the FY 2008 Administration/legal budget as <br />follows: Funds for the City Labor Attorney invoice are available from Account No. 001-1140-514.31.02. <br />Funds for the State Attorney invoice are available from Account No. 001-0140-513.31.05. <br /> <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and staff recommend approval of the Special Invoice Report. <br /> <br />B. Resolution 08- I 904 - Agreement between the City of Casselberrv and American <br />Traffic Solutions. LLC for the Services Associated with the Imolementation of a Red <br />Light Running Camera Enforcement Svstem <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE <br />EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT FOR RED LIGHT RUNNING CAMERA <br />ENFORCEMENT SYSTEM SERVICES WITH AMERICAN TRAFFIC SOLUTIONS, <br />LLC; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Introduction: Resolution 08-1904 provides for an agreement with American Traffic Solutions, LLC for the <br />services associated with the implementation of a red light running camera enforcement system. <br /> <br />Budget Impact: Per the terms and conditions ofthe agreement, there will be no fee charged to the City for <br />the work accomplished; therefore, there is no budgetary impact. It is anticipated that any costs associated <br />with the appeal process and hearing officer program will be offset by the fines and administrative costs <br />authorized by Ordinance 08-1246. <br /> <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Police Chief recommended approval of Resolution 08-1904. <br /> <br />C.
