Amend the City's Future Land Use Map to add the TCEA <br />Overlay District. <br />Sixth Item of Business: LPA 08-08: Concord Center and City Center. Amend the City's Future Land Use Map to add <br />the Major Thoroughfare Mixed-Use Future Land Use Map Amendments. <br /> <br />Ms. Sandra Smith, Chief Planner, reviewed the information provided in her memorandum dated <br /> <br />20, 2008, to <br /> <br />City of Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission (a copy is on file in the Community Development Department). Ms, <br /> <br />Smith requested two separate motions. She said LPA 08-07 adds a TCEA Overlay District (Transportation Concurrency <br /> <br />Exception Area) to the Future Land Use Map and LPA 08-08 amends the Future Land Use map designation of properties <br /> <br />within the Concord Center (6 parcels) from Commercial to Major Thoroughfare Mixed-Use and amends the Future Land Use <br /> <br />map designation of properties within the City Center (8 parcels) from High Intensity Non-Residential I Medium Density <br /> <br />Residential to Major Thoroughfare Mixed-Use. <br /> <br />Mr. Buchanan asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition to, the <br /> <br />request. <br /> <br />John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, Casselberry, Florida came forward. Mr. Casselberry questioned <br /> <br />the items on the agenda. Mr. Casselberry recommended postponing assigning a future land use designation to any properties <br /> <br />until the City Commission has approved the transportation concurrency exception area overlay district. <br />
