City Commission Meeting September 10, 2007 Page 3 8. Consent Agenda The following items are presented for approval on the Consent Agenda. There is no discussion on individual items unless the item is removed from the Consent Agenda by a City Commission member and a single motion will approve all items. A. Recognition of Donated Funds ($500.00) received from the Wal Mart Foundation. Funds will be used by the Casselberry Police Department to cover expenditures associated with events put on by the School Resource Program. (Budget Transfer - Increase Account 001-0610-521.52 (Operating Supplies) and 001-0000-366.91 (Donations - Private Sources) - $500.00 B. Purchase of Playground Equipment for Secret Lake Park - $24,864.50 - Expenditure will be taken from Account # I 03-04 I 0-572.63-62 and is designated as the match for the Florida Recreation Department Assistance Program (FRADP) C. Acceptance of Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Award - $19,938.00- The grant will be used for the purchase of twelve (12) patrol rifles, six (6) shotguns and associated equipment, i.e. security racks and weapon light kits. D. Resolution 07-1818 Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program (FRDAP) Agreement (SFY 2007-08) for Grant A ward Funding for Lake Concord! Anniversary Park Development .~ Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Casselberry, Florida, authorizing execution of an agreement with the Stute of Florida, Department of Environmental Protection relating to financiol assistance from the Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program for the development of Lake ConcortVAnniversary Park Phase II; providing for conj1icts, severabUity and effective date. " E. Retention of City Labor Attorney(s) - Jeffrey Mandel and Vasilis (Bill) Katsafanas _ The City Labor Attorneys are moving their practice from Akerman Senterfitt to the law firm of Fisher & Phillips, LLP, Orlando, Florida, effective September I, 2007. Staff recommended retaining the services of the Labor Attorneys at their current rate of $220 per hour. F. Removal of Board of Adjustment Board Member - Request to remove Hal Billerback as member of the Board of Adjustment due to excessive unexcused absences. G. Resolution 07-1821 - Annual Local Improvement Assessment for the Summerset North Subdivision Wall maintenance assessment fees for the 2009 tax roll. The assessment resolution is required to be adopted each year in conjunction with the City budget.
