<br />City Commission Meeting <br />June 11, 2007 <br />Page 7 <br /> <br />· E(2) Mon-Recreational Utility Trailers not allowed to be parked in the City's right-of-way; this <br />defines two types of trailers, one that is not permitted at all and one that is permitted but cannot be <br />parked in an area forward of the front fa,ade of the principle structure. <br /> <br />. E (4) No more than One large vehicle may be parked in a residential lot, which includes large <br />vehicles with accessories and attachments. This should remain in the ordinance because it also <br />includes large vehicles with screening. <br /> <br />. E (6) All reflective signage shall be covered by one-piece, solid colored magnetic cover and screening <br />for vehicles in a residential area is mandatory at all times unless the vehicle is in the area on a service <br />call. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Moved by Commissioner Colleen S. Hufford to approve Ordinance 06-1194, <br />Parking in Residential Districts, as submitted. Motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Sandra T. Solomon. <br /> <br />During Commission Discussion, Commissioners Miller, Hufford and Solomon indicated they supported <br />the changes and would be voting in favor of the ordinance. Commissioner Doerner stated she would be <br />voting in favor of the ordinance but expressed concern regarding the 22 foot vehicle length as being <br />excessive and with a tape measure gave a visual demonstration of 22 foot. Mayor Goff stated that he would <br />be voting against the ordinance because it was micromanaging the citizens unfairly. <br /> <br />VOTE ON THE MOTION: Motion carried on a 4 - 1 vote. Mayor Goff dissenting. <br /> <br />B. Public Hearing and Second Reading of Ordinance 07-1211, Amendments to the City Code of <br />Ordinances, Chapter 62-Personnel, and Creating Chapter 52 Human Resources <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 07-1211 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING <br />AND RENAMING ARTICLES I AND II OF CHAPTER 62, PERSONNEL TO <br />ARTICLES I AND II OF CHAPTER 52, HUMAN RESOURCES, AND PROVIDING <br />FOR THE CREATION AND DISTRIBUTION OF AN EMPLOYEE MANUAL, AND <br />ELIMINATING UNNECESSARY TEXT; REPEALING ARTICLES III THROUGH <br />XX OF CHAPTER 62; RENAMING ARTICLE XXI, CHAPTER 62, PERSONNEL, <br />TO ARTICLE I, POLICE OFFICERS' AND FIREFIGHTERS' PENSION PLAN, OF <br />CHAPTER 62, PENSIONS AND RETIREMENT; PROVIDING FOR <br />SEVERABILITY, CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Lel!al Advertisement: Legal advertisement for Ordinance 07-1211 was published in the Orlando Sentinel on <br />May 27,2007. <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: Ordinance 07 -l2ll amends Article I and II, Chapter 62, Personnel, by creating Articles I <br />and II, Chapter 52, Human Resources and repeals Articles III through XX, Chapter 62, Personnel.
