Motion passed 5 - O. <br /> <br />IV. SECOND READING OF ORDINANCE 02-1048 - CRA MODIFICATIONS <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Commissioner Clark moved to read Ordinance 02-1048 <br />by title only. Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Henson. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 02-1048 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING <br />SECTION 2-183, BOARD OF AGENCY COMMISSIONERS - ESTABLISHED, OF <br />DIVISION 4, COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, OF ARTICLE IV, <br />BOARDS, COMMITTEES AND COMMISSIONS, OF CHAPTER 2, ADMINISTRATION, <br />OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, TO <br />CHANGE THE NUMBER OF MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF <br />THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FROM FIVE (5) TO SEVEN (7); <br />PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE <br />DATE." <br /> <br />The Notice of Public Hearing relative to Ordinance 02-1048 was published in the Orlando Sentinel on April <br />28, 2002. Ordinance 02-1048 was passed on first reading on April 8, 2002. <br /> <br />Mr. Wells stated Ordinance 02-1048 provides for the recent approval by the Seminole County Board of <br />County Commissioners to increase the membership of the CRA from five (5) to seven (7) members, with <br />three (3) of those members appointed by the County and the remaining four (4) members appointed by the <br />City. Mr. Wells noted that the County's approval of the increase in membership also included approval of <br />adding five (5) additional years to the CRA from 15 years to 20 years. Staffrecommended approval of <br />Ordinance 01-1048 on second reading. <br /> <br />Mayor Pronovost asked if there was anyone in the audience that wished to speak either for or against <br />Ordinance 02-1048. No one came forward. Mayor Pronovost closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Commissioner Clark moved to approve and adopt <br />Ordinance 02-1048 on second and final reading, as <br />presented. Motion was secouded by Commissioner <br />Henson. Motion carried unanimously by roll call vote. <br />
