Paul Fennel, 4248 Irongate Court <br /> <br />Lakes in excess of 50 acres not affected by the 25 MPH speed limit include Middle Lake <br />Triplet (54 acres), Lake Kathryn (partly outside the City with 78 acres), and Lake <br />Howell (401 acres). <br /> <br />Commissioner Sheppard emphasized that laws regarding reckless boating are currently on <br />effect Ordinance 95-820 would only add an enforcement tool to the existing laws on the <br />books. <br /> <br />Commissioner Robertson was concerned that the 25 MPH speed limit wetild not sufficient <br />enough to allow skiing. Commission agreed to increasing the speed to 30 MPH.on lakes <br />under 50 acres. <br /> <br />Commissioner Henson expressed concerns re the times of operation for watercrafts and <br />enforcement of such. Commission agreed on the following times of operation for <br />watercrafts: <br /> <br />April through September - 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. <br />All other months of the year 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. <br />
