CITY COMMISSION June 17, 1991 Page 9 The Commission Chairman asked if there was anyone in the audience that wished to speak either for or against Ordinance 699. The following individual came forward: 1) Elizabeth Redmon, 801 Debby Drive, questioned the necessity of Ordinance 699. Chairman Schutte replied that it resulted from a recent state legislative enactment requiring these procedures. MOTION: Mr. Henson moved, Mrs. Miller seconded, and motion carried unanimonsly to approve and adopt Ordinance 699, on second and fmal reading. SECOND READING OF ORDINANCE 701- SCHEDULE OF METER DEPOSITS MOTION: Mr. Henson moved, Mrs. Miller seconded, and motion carried unanimously to read the Notice of Public Hearing relative to Ordinance 701. The Acting City Clerk read the Notice of Public Hearing as follows: "Notice is hereby given by the City of Casselberry, Florida, that the City Commission will hold a public hearing to consider enactment of Ordinance 701. This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 166, Florida Statutes, and the Charter and Ordinances of the City of Casselberry, Florida as amended and supplemented. Said Ordinance will be considered on first reading on Monday, May 20, 1991, and the City Commission will consider same for final passage and adoption after the public hearing which will be held in the City Hall of Casselberry, Florida, on Monday, June 3, 1991 at 7:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible. At the meeting interested parties may appear and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance. This hearing may be continued from time to time until final action is taken by the City Commission. Copies of the proposed ordinance are available with the Clerk of the City and the same may be inspected by the public. " This notice was published in the Sanford Herald on Sunday, May 19, 1991. MOTION: Mr. Henson moved, Mr. Crocker seconded, and motion carried unanimously to read Ordinance 701 by title only.
