At the meeting interested parties may appear and be heard <br />with respect to the proposed ordinance. This hearing may be continued from time <br />to time until final action is taken by the City Commission. Copies of the <br />proposed ordinance are available at City Hall with the Clerk of the City and the <br />same may be inspected by the public. " <br /> <br />This notice was published in the Sanford Herald on Sunday, May 19, 1991. <br /> <br />MOTION: Mr. Henson moved, Mrs. Miller seconded, and <br />motion carried unanimously to read Ordinance <br />578 by title only. <br /> <br />The Acting City Clerk read Ordinance 578 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING <br />CHAPTER 92 OF THE FIRE PREVENTION CODE OF ORDINANCES OF <br />THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, BY ADDING SECTION 92.06 <br />(HYDRANTS, MINIMUM DISTANCE) AND SECTION 92.07 (HYDRANT, <br />FIRE LANE) AND AMENDING SECTION 92.17 (INSTALLATION <br />STANDARDS) AND SECTION 92.18, SUBSECTIONS (1\) AND (B), <br />(EXTINGUISHING SYSTEMS); PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, <br />CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />Chairman Schutte asked if there was anyone in the audience that wished to speak either for or <br />against Ordinance 578. No one came forward. <br /> <br />Mr. McIntosh stated that the Fire Marshal, Dennis Anderson, must be made aware of the final <br />draft of Ordinance 578 and that it meets the requirements of his department. <br /> <br />The Fire Marshal stated that Ordinance 578 met all requirements of the Casselberry Fire <br />Department. <br /> <br />Commissioner Miller suggested inserting the word "new" in front of "multi-family <br />residential... ", on page 3, Section 4, item b. The Fire Marshall and the Commission concurred. <br /> <br />MOTION: Mr. Henson moved, Mrs. Miller seconded, and <br />motion carried unanimously to approve and <br />adopt Ordinance 578 as amended, on second and <br />final reading. <br />
