CITY COMMISSION June 17, 1991 Page 6 Commissioner Henson stated that he felt the City should not set age limits for watercraft operation until the State mandates such limitations. The Commission concurred to strike any reference to an operator's age. MOTION: Mr. Henson moved, Mrs. Miller seconded, and motion carried unanimonsly to adopt and approve Ordinance 700, as amended, on second and fmaI reading. SECOND READING OF ORDINANCE 702 - ABANDONMENT OF EASEMENT. LAKE GRIFFIN (CONTINUED FROM JUNE 3.1991) Mr. McIntosh stated he had notification from an appropriately affected owner with reference to the potential of an inverse condemnation action, as it relates to lots 6 and 7, and that the matter be withdrawn and that he intended to take care of the matter through other processes that are authorized within the City to serve the interest of Casselberry citizens who are adversely affected by commercial traffic in and about this specific area. MOTION: Mr. Henson moved, Mrs. Miller seconded, and motion carried unanimously to withdraw Ordinance 702 from consideration by the City Commission. SECOND READING OF ORDINANCE 578 - AMENDING CHAPTER 92 - FIRE PREVENTION CODE MOTION: Mr. Henson moved, Mr. Crocker seconded, and motion carried unanimously to read the Notice of Public Hearing relative to Ordinance 578. The Acting City Clerk read the Notice of Public Hearing as follows: "Notice is hereby given by the City of Casselberry, Florida, that the City Commission will hold a public hearing to consider enactment of Ordinance 578. This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 166, Florida Statutes, and the Charter and Ordinances of the City of Casselberry, Florida as amended and supplemented. Said Ordinance will be considered on first reading on Monday, May 20, 1991, and the City Commission will consider same for final passage and adoption after the public hearing which will be held in the City Hall
