CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />M'tautes of May 10, 2004 - Regular Meeting <br />Page 7 of 17 <br /> <br />14) Jenny Musser, 106 Long Horn Road, Winter Park (unincorporated Seminole County), <br />stated she recently purchased property located 2780 Lake Howell Lane and spoke in <br />opposition to Ordinance 04-1130. Ms. Musser also stated she was speaking in opposition <br />on behalf of her parents who reside at 108 Long Horn Road. <br /> <br />No else came forward. Mayor Pronovost closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Commission Discussion: Discussion ensued regarding the potential impacts the annexation and possible <br />development of the subject lands would have on both City and County se~wiees. Mr. Clifton clarified that <br />the Catholic Diocese has not approached the City with any specific development plans for the San Pedro <br />property. Commissioner Cookvoiced concerns regarding the City's abilityto provide services for the subject <br />property and also voiced concerns regarding impacts to the property owners within the annexation area who <br />were opposed to the matter. Commission consensus was to direct staff to meet with concerned residents near <br />the subject property and Seminole County staff to attempt to resolve any outstanding issues relating to <br />Ordinance 04-1130. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Clark moved to approve Ordinance 04- <br />1130 on first reading as presented. Motion was <br />seconded by Commissioner Doerner. Motion carried <br />4 - 1 (Commissioner Cook dissenting) by roll call vote. <br /> <br />Roll Call Vote of the City Commission: <br /> <br /> Commissioner Doerner - Yes; Commissioner Cook - No; Commissioner Hart - Yes; Vice Mayor <br /> Clark - Yes; Mayor Pronovost - Yes. Motion passed 4 - 1. <br /> <br />Public Hearing Date: The next public hearing for Ordinance 04-1130 is scheduled for Monday, May 24, <br />2004. <br /> <br />III. FIRST READING OF ORDINANCE 04-1131 - LAKE HOWELL ARMS <br /> <br />CONDOMINIUMS ANNEXATION <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Clerk moved to read Ordinance 04-1131 <br />by title only. Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Hart. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 04-1131 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, RELATING TO <br />ANNEXATION; MAKING FINDINGS; ANNEXING TO AND INCLUDING WITHIN <br />THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, CERTAIN <br />LANDS LOCATED IN SECTION 21, TOWNSH~ 21 S, RANGE 30E, REDEFINING THE <br /> <br /> <br />
