CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minut~ of May 10, 2004 - Regular Meeting <br />Page 6 of 17 <br /> <br />Mr. Bishop voiced concerns regarding a letter that was recently sent out by the City to some <br />of the affected property owners and the possibility of changing to commercial zoning in the <br />future and the impacts to his development. <br /> <br />3) John Casselbeny, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, spoke in favor of Ordinance 04-1130. <br /> <br />4) Egerton Van den Berg, 1245 Howell Point, Winter Park (unincorporated Seminole <br />Comity), spoke in opposition to Ordinance 04-1130, voicing concerns regarding creation of <br />an enclave. <br /> <br />5) Shirley Yousef, 105 Long Ranch Road, Winter Park (unincorporated Seminole County), <br />spoke in opposition to Ordinance 04-1130, voicing concerns regarding impacts to the Lake <br />Ann subdivision. <br /> <br />6) Tim Eggers, 885 Copperfield Terrace, Casselberry (unincorporated Seminole County), <br />stated he was speaking on behalf of his parents, Bill and Maryann Eggers, 2806 Lake <br />Howell Lane, (Unincorporated Seminole County) who were opposed to Ordinance 04-1130. <br /> <br />7) Wendy Eggers, 2808 Lake Howell Lane (unincorporated Seminole County), spoke in <br />opposition to Ordinance 04-1130. <br /> <br />8) Grant Maloy, Seminole County Commissioner, (did not disclose address), voiced <br />concerns regarding impacts the annexation would have on County services and possible <br />creation of an enclave. Commissioner Maloy requested the City Commission delay action <br />on Ordinance 04-1130 to allow for the County to review the matter in more detail. <br /> <br />9) April Boswell, staff member of the Seminole County Planning & Development <br />Department, 208 Colonial Lane, Longwood, requested that Ordinance 04-1130 be delayed <br />for reasons stated in the written request from Seminole County and since the County did not <br />receive the urban services plan until the morning of May 10, 2004. <br /> <br />10) Eva Cameron, 2759 Howell Branch Road, Winter Park (unincorporated Seminole <br />County), spoke in opposition to Ordinance 04-1130. <br /> <br />11) Maureen Smith, 2771 Howell Branch Road, Winter Park (unincorporated Seminole <br />County), spoke in opposition to Ordinance 04-1130. <br /> <br />12) Mike Carerra, stated he was speaking on behalf of his parents who live at 2740 Lake <br />Howell Lane, Winter Park (unincorporated Seminole County), who were opposed to <br />Ordinance 04-1130 due to impacts to their neighborhood. <br /> <br />13) Shirley Haynes, 2764 Lake Howell Lane, Winter Park (unincorporated Seminole <br />County), spoke in opposition to Ordinance 04- l 130, voicing concerns regarding the impacts <br />to the surrounding neighborhoods and the acquisition of Lake Howell lake bottom by the <br />City. <br /> <br /> <br />
