Motion was <br />seconded by Commissioner Cook. Motion carried <br />unanimously by roll call vote. <br /> <br />Roll Call Vote of the City Commission: <br /> <br /> Commissioner Doerner - Yes; Commissioner Cook - Yes; Commissioner Hart - Yes; Mayor <br /> Pronovost - Yes. Motion passed 4 - 0. <br /> <br />Public Hearing Date: The public hearing for Ordinance 04-I 127 is scheduled for Monday, May 10, 2004. <br /> <br />8. SECOND ADDENDUM TO SALE AND PURCHASE CONTRACT FOR CIP <br /> <br />PROPERTY AT U.S. HIGHWAY 17-92 AND TRIPLET LAKE DRIVE & <br /> <br /> RELATED COMMISSION ACTION(S) <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: Mr. Clifton stated the Second Addendum provides for the following: <br /> 1. The Inspection Period shall be extended up to and incluffmg April 27, 2004. <br /> 2. The Closing shall take place on or before April 29, 2004. <br /> <br /> 3. The legal description for the Triplet Lake property is amended to read that which is <br /> attached as Exhibit A to the Second Addendum. <br /> <br />Mr. Clifton also gave an overview of potential issues that could arise relating to the billboard owned by <br />Clear Channel located on the C1? property, as outlined in Mrs. Reisehmann's April 8, 2004 letter to Mr. <br />Clifton, which is attached to and made a part of these minutes. Mr. Clifton recommended approval of <br />the Second Addendum as presented. <br /> <br />Audience Participation: <br /> <br /> 1) John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, stated he was speaking as a private citizen, <br /> and voiced concerns regarding the appraisals associated with the CIP Property purchase. <br /> <br />Commission Discussion: Commissioner Cook expressed concerns regarding the City buying the entire <br />parcel and reselling portions at a later date. <br /> <br /> MOTION: Commissioner Doerner moved to approve the Second <br /> Addendum to Sale and Purchase Agreement for <br /> Commercial Land with Casselberry Investment <br /> Properties, LTD., as presented. Motion was seconded <br /> by Commissioner Hart. Motion carried 3 -1 <br /> (Commissioner Cook dissenting) by roll call vote. <br /> <br /> <br />
