<br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 04-1121 by title as follows:

<br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING
<br />SELECTED SECTIONS OF THE CITY CODE OF ORDINANCES, INCLUDING PART
<br />II, CHAPTER 14, ARTICLE 11, DIVISION 2, SPECIAL EVENTS, SECTION 14-44,
<br />INDEMNIFICATION, TO DELETE THE CURRENT TEXT AND REPLACE WITH
<br />TEXT THAT PROVIDES GREATER PROTECTION FOR THE CITY; PART Ill,
<br />UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS, TO REMOVE CHAPTER l,
<br />ARTICLE V, SECTIONS 1-5.1 THROUGH 15, SWIMMING POOLS, AND TO

<br />LANDSCAPE ACCENT LIGHTING IN ARTICLE X, APPEARANCE DESIGN AND
<br />COMPATIBILITY, SECTION 3-10.2.6, EXTERIOR LIGHTING; TO CLARIFY THE
<br />EXCEPTIONS FOR PARKING COMMERCIAL VEHICLES IN RESIDENTIAL AREAS
<br />IN ARTICLE X, SECTION 3o10.9.C, EXCEPTIONS; TO REPLACE TEXT THAT WAS
<br />IMPROPERLY DELETED FROM ARTICLE XV, OFFSTREET PARKING AND
<br />LOADING REQUIREMENTS, SECTION 3-15.6.C(2), REQUIRED OFFSTREET
<br />LOADING SPACES; TO ELIMINATE REDUNDANT LANGUAGE REGARDING
<br />ACCESSIBILITY PARKING AND REFERENCE CHAPTER 11, FLORIDA
<br />ACCESSIBILITY CODE FOR BUILDING CONSTRUCTION OF THE FLORIDA
<br />BUILDING CODE 2001 TO CLARIFY MAXIMUM SIGN COPY AREA FOR FACADE
<br />SIGNS IN MULTI-TENANT CENTERS IN ARTICLE XVI, SIGNS, SECTION 3-16.2,
<br />DEFINITIONS AND 3-16.3, ON-PREMISES PERMANENT SIGN REGULATIONS; TO
<br />DELETE THE EXISTING TEXT IN ARTICLE XIX, SUBDIVISION, SECTION 4-19.2.E,
<br />BUFFERS, INCLUDING BERMS, FENCES AND LANDSCAPING, AND REPLACE
<br />WITH COHESIVE LANGUAGE; TO REVISE ARTICLE XIX, SUBDIVISION, SECTION
<br />4-19.6.C.4, CONTENT OF FINAL PLAT TO REVISE THE SIZE REQUIREMENT FOR
<br />A FINAL PLAT; TO REVISE THE DEFINITION OF TOWNHOUSE IN CHAPTER V,
<br />GLOSSARY, ARTICLE XXI, LANGUAGE AND DEFINITIONS, SECTION 5-21.2,
<br />DEFINITION OF TERMS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CODIFICATION,
<br />CONFLICTS, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE."

<br />Legal Advertisement: The Notice of Public Heating relative to Ordinance 04-1121 was published in the
<br />Orlando Sentinel on March 7, 2004.
<br />
<br />Staff Presentation: Mr. Wells stated the Planning & Zoning Commission/Land Planning Agency
<br />unanimously recommended approval of Ordinance 04-1121 at its January 14, 2004 meeting. Ordinance 04-
<br />1121 was passed on first reading on February 9, 2004. Staffrecommended approval of Ordinance 04-1121
<br />on second reading.
<br />
<br />Public Hearing: Mayor Pronovost asked if there was anyone in the audience that wished to speak either for
<br />or against Ordinance 04-1121. No one came forward. Mayor Pronovost closed the public hearing.

<br />MOTION:

<br />Vice Mayor Clark moved to approve Ordinance 04-
<br />1121 as presented. Motion was seconded by
<br />Commissioner Doerner. Motion carried unanimously
<br />by roll call vote.
