SECOND READING OF ORDINANCE 04-1113 - SMALL SCALE FUTURE <br /> <br />LAND USE MAP AMENDMENT - LEGACY PARK PROPERTY ON JAMIE <br /> <br />LANE - LPA 03-10 <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Clark moved to read Ordinance 04-1113 <br />by title only. Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Doerner. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />The City Clerk read Ordinance 04-1113 by title as follows: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLOR1DA, TO AMEND THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, BY AMENDING THE OFFICIAL <br />FUTURE LAND USE MAP ESTABLISHING THE FUTURE LAND USE DESIGNATION <br />OF LOW INTENSITY NON-RESIDENTIAL/MEDIUM DENSITY <br />RESIDENTIAL/SEMINOLA BLVD. OVERLAY DISTRICT, PHASE II <br />(LINtUMDR/SBOD-II) FOR THOSE PARCELS DESCRIBED 1N SECTION I OF THIS <br />ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND AN EFFECTWE <br />DATE." <br /> <br />Legal Advertisement: The Notice of Public Hearing retative to Or,finance 04-1113 was published in the <br />Orlando Sentinel on January 29, 2004. <br /> <br />Staff Presentation: Mr. Wells stated Ordinance 04-1113 provides for amendment of the Future Land Use <br />Map for the subject property which was previously annexed into the City via Ordinance 03-1098 from <br />Seminole County Low Density Residential to City Low Intensity Non-Residential/Medium Density <br />Residential/Seminola Boulevard Overlay District, Phase II. The property is less than 10 acres which allows <br />for the amendment to be processed as a Small Scale Future Land Use Map Amendment, pursuant to <br />163.3187(1)(c), (2)(a), and (3), Florida Statutes. The Planning & Zoning Commission voted 6-0 to <br />recommend approval of the amendment at its December 10, 2003 meeting. The City Commission passed <br />Ordinance 04-1 ! 13 on first reacYmg on Sanuary 12, 2004. Staffrecommended approval of Ordinance 04-1113 <br />on second reading. <br /> <br /> <br />
