RESOLUTION 04-1495 <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, TO ENTER INTO AN <br />AGREEMENT WITH TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES, INC. (TCD) TO PROVIDE THE LABOR & <br />MATERIALS FOR FIRE STATION 21 TRAFFIC SIGNAL; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, <br />SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to install the necessary traffic signal at the new Fire <br />Station 21; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry desires to provide a safe and secure route for emergency <br />vehicles to leave the Fire Station; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Casselberry has the ability to enter into an agreement with TCD, which shall <br />be in accordance with the plans and specifications of the Seminole County Contract NB-302101/GG; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, TCD has previously demonstrated the ability to perform the requisite services in a <br />satisfactory manner. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION I. The City Commission of the City of Casselberry hereby approves the Proposal with <br />Traffic Control Devices, Inc. (attached as "Exhibit A "), and authorizes the Mayor to execute said <br />document on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />SECTION I1. Conflicts. All Resolutions or pads of Resolutions in conflict with any of the provisions <br />of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION III. Severability. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Resolution proves to be <br />invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or <br />effect of any other Section or part of this Resolution, <br /> <br />SECTION IV. Effective Date.
