RESOLUTION NO. o4-1468 <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, TO <br />AUTHORIZE AND APPROVE REVISIONS TO THE VEHICLE USE <br />POLICY FOR THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA; PROVDING <br />FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City maintains a vehicle fleet in excess of one hundred fifty <br />(x5o) vehicles; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there is a need to update the current policy approved by the City <br />Commission at its meeting of February 7, 1994; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the labor agreement between the Coastal Police Benevolent <br />Association and the City of Casselberry has provisions for the unit members different <br />from other employees; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed policy provides for uniform provisions for all <br />employees; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there have been several administrative changes to the use and <br />maintenance of City vehicles. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION I. The Vehicle Use Policy attached hereto is adopted and approved. <br /> <br /> SECTION II. The Vehicle Use Policy, attached hereto as Exhibit A, is adopted to <br />be effective immediately upon its circulation and distribution, to all affected <br />departments. <br /> <br /> SECTION III. Conflicts. All Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict <br />with any of the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> SECTION IV. Severabilitv. If any Section or portion of a Section of this <br />Resolution proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to <br />invalidate or impair the validity, force or effect of any other Section or part of this <br />Resolution. <br /> <br /> SECTION IV. Effective Date.
